Abstracts should include animal or human research findings discussing rare or interesting cases in the fields of intensive care and critical care, or high-quality case reports. All abstracts must comply with universal ethical standards. For clinical studies, ethics committee approval and compliance with Turkish legislation will be required.

The Abstract Committee reserves the right to accept or reject submissions based on their content and, if accepted, to change the presentation format. Case reports will NOT be accepted as oral presentations.

Abstract Submission Rules:

Evaluation of Abstracts

  • All abstracts will undergo peer review using a blinded (anonymous) review process conducted by the Abstract Evaluation Committee. Committee members will assess abstracts in terms of content, language quality, and novelty/innovation contributed to the literature. Acceptance of an abstract will be based on the reviewers’ evaluations. The Congress Organizing Committee reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the presentation format, and the decision will be communicated to the corresponding author.
  • Abstracts prepared from ongoing studies with no final results yet, as well as submissions that do not include the required abstract sections listed above, will not be evaluated.
  • For case reports, the aim should be to share experience with distinctive and rare cases and to increase awareness. Submissions that do not serve this purpose and/or do not follow the structured format will not be accepted.
  • Based on the outcome of the peer-review process, abstract decisions (“ACCEPTED” or “REJECTED”) will be sent to the e-mail addresses of the submitting authors registered in the system.
  • For accepted abstracts to be published in the Congress Abstract Book, the submitting author must have completed congress registration and the abstract must have been presented at the congress. Abstracts that are not presented will be removed from the abstract book.
